# Use your own AI too

> How to connect Claude, ChatGPT or Grok to your Pilotie workspace on top of the built-in helper: copy the address, add a connector, sign in.

Your helper is already here. If you have Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or another assistant that supports **MCP**, you can add it on top. Both work in the same workspace at the same time, and everything either of them does is in your history, with who did it.

## The address

Open **Use your own AI too** in Pilotie and press **Copy the address**. It is the address of your workspace's connector.

## Claude

1. Copy the address.
2. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
3. Choose Add custom connector, paste the address and save.
4. Sign in with your account when Claude asks.

## ChatGPT

1. Copy the address.
2. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
3. Choose Create, give it a name, paste the address as the server address and save.
4. Sign in with your account when ChatGPT asks.

## Grok

1. Copy the address.
2. In Grok, open Settings, then Connectors.
3. Add a custom connector, paste the address and save.
4. Sign in with your account when Grok asks.

> [!NOTE]
> The menus of those apps change. If a step looks different, follow your AI's own help for adding a custom connector.

## No keys in chats

You never paste a key or a password into a chat. The connector signs your AI in once, and you can see and change what it may do. Your own AI is run by its own provider under its own terms, and what you ask it can be sent to that provider.
