Credits and limits
How Pilotie helper credits work: 600 a month, what a credit is, the calm note at 80 percent, the break at 100 percent and the daily ceilings.
What a credit is#
A credit is half a cent of what the helper costs to run: 200 credits are one dollar of provider cost. Each message is worked out from the tokens it used, rounded up, and costs at least one credit for any real work. The 600 credits in the plan are about three dollars of small-model work a month.
The card#
The usage card shows today: messages, credits used, and what is left of the month.
| Meter | What you see |
|---|---|
| Up to 80 percent | Just the meter |
| From 80 percent | A gentle note: you have used most of them. The helper keeps working |
| At 100 percent | The helper takes a break and offers a way forward: a pack, a bigger plan or waiting for renewal |
Ceilings#
Each workspace has a daily ceiling on messages (up to 300) and on cost, and the whole service has one too, so one busy day cannot run away. A single message is also capped on tool steps and on tokens.
